The color prints and text were printed with pigment inks on an archival, non-brightened rag paper.

The black & white prints are silver gelatin.

This 16×20 edition is hand bound and numbered, and each of the 19 prints is signed by the photographer.

This edition is limited to no more than 50 numbered copies, plus 6 lettered artist proofs.

 

The Westons portfolio contains 19 16×20 signed prints, 6 of which are digital color and 13 are Silver Gelatin Black & Whites.

There are 8 16×20 pages of text, including introduction and notes, a centerfold of 39 images, plus 2 images on the title and colophon pages.

There are 4 15×20 pages of reproductions of original letters, printed on mouldmade rag, comprised of 4 separate letter sets.

There are 19 Interleaves which contain reproductions of 46 groups of letters, postcards, envelopes and notes from Brett Weston, Neil Weston, Merle Armitage, Erica Weston and Richard C. Miller’s notes. In addition the interleaves incorporate 60 images.

The entire project uses 180 distinct artifacts comprised of 130 photographs and 50 sets of letters.

 

 

The Centerfold Images

 This selection of prints were left out of the portfolio for various reasons; duplication, other usage, previously known, etc.

The Interleave Images

Another group of images not included as part of the portfolio prints, but printed as ghosted images on the interleaving vellum.
